Founded by a retired U.S. Marine First Sergeant, our company is built on decades of leadership, service, and a commitment to helping others succeed. Throughout a military career spanning more than 20 years, we sponsored and assisted the relocation and integration of over 500 U.S. service members and their families around the world. Today, we bring that same experience, discipline, and personalized support to civilians.

As a Veteran Owned & Operated business, our mission is simple: to make your relocation and integration as smooth, organized, and stress-free as possible.

We help you navigate the process by connecting you with trusted resources, referring you to the appropriate organizations and professionals, and providing personalized guidance throughout your journey. Depending on the service package you choose, we also provide ongoing check-ins, progress tracking, and hands-on assistance to help keep your relocation moving forward.

We are not legal advisors and do not provide legal representation. Instead, we serve as your trusted relocation partner, helping you understand the process, avoid common pitfalls, and connect with qualified professionals whenever legal or specialized services are required.

Meet The Founder

Ivan Ricardo Alfonzo is a retired U.S. Marine First Sergeant with more than 20 years of military service, dedicated to leading, mentoring, and helping others succeed in challenging environments around the world.

Throughout his career, Ivan served in leadership positions across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He worked in support of U.S. diplomatic missions overseas, attended the Naval Postgraduate School, and earned a Master’s degree in International Relations, developing a deep understanding of international affairs, cross-cultural communication, and global mobility.

One of the most rewarding aspects of his military career was serving as a sponsor for newly assigned service members and their families. Over the years, he personally assisted more than 500 military members and their families with relocation, integration, and settling into new communities. From coordinating resources and navigating unfamiliar systems to helping families feel at home, he learned that a successful relocation is about much more than simply moving—it’s about building a new life.

After retiring from the Marine Corps, Ivan founded Relocation Veteran to bring that same level of personalized service, organization, and commitment to civilians relocating internationally. His mission is to simplify the relocation process by connecting clients with trusted resources, providing practical guidance, and helping them navigate each stage of their transition with confidence.

Today, Ivan divides his time between Florida and Austria, giving him firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges of international living. His personal journey, combined with decades of leadership and global experience, allows him to understand what clients are going through and provide practical, real-world support.
